6 Spring 2020 Essentials

Hey pretty people! Say hello to March. I hope this month brings you blessings on top of blessings.

I'm so ready for the warmer weather. I have plans to finish cleaning out and organizing my closet yet again this weekend..its an never ending chore for me...but I digress.

Do you wanna update your wardrobe in preparation for the warmer weather? I sure do.

If that's you keep reading to find out Spring's 2020 essentials. The great thing about essentials is that they can make up the core of your wardrobe and can easily been worn together , switched up to go from day to night and be paired with your other go to pieces. Lets chat about it!

#1. Denim jacket- I can't stress enough how every chic needs a bomb denim jacket. You can dress it up or down, jazz it up with embellishments, or funk it up with a distressed look. It goes well with skirts, shorts, dresses and pants. I love that its office friendly when you pair it with a cute dress and modest heels or sky high heels. Get you one and have fun with it.

#2. Pleated skirt- I mean really...who doesn't look fly in a pleated skirt? I like to pair it with a light sweater, cardigan or simple white tee and a cute statement necklace. Pleated skirts that hit at just above or right at the calf even look super stylish with sneakers! Who knew?!

#3. Blazer- a blazer just screams"Look at me, I'm so effortlessly stylish". Whether you like it as a solid color in black or one with a checkerboard or houndstooth print. This ode to the 80's is back and is a great staple piece to add to your wardrobe.

#4. Boyfriend jeans- IMO these are the best jeans to wear with heels and kicks. Most come with a relaxed fit and cuffed at the bottom. Holes and rips are also common. These are the ultimate laid back jeans but can also be dressed up with a cute top, blazer or fancy blouse.

#5. Maxi dress- Yall know how I feel about a colorful pretty maxi. It screams femininity and modesty, and you can find them from Walmart to Target or Zara's and everywhere in between.

I even saw one at a Thrift store once. So go shopping for a maxi dress!

#6. Crossbody bag--last but certainly not least, a crossbody bag keeps you from lugging around a big bag when you'are on the go, on vacay, or a date night. Most designers and even the high fashion designers have some type of crossbody or mini shoulder bag you can find. I often shop Ross or Marshall's for my Steve Madden, Kenneth Cole or Nine West crossbody bags.

So get in gear ladies, clean out your closets and get ready for Spring..it's coming and I want you to be ready to flaunt your style and doing it all while looking cute on a budget. Happy Shopping!

Stay Pretty!
